Laughing Liberally: Election Edition

This event has already happened. Visit our calendar to learn about our upcoming events.

Laughing Liberally, New York's longest running political comedy show, presents the best progressive political comedians, with the goal of saving democracy one laugh at a time.

Just three days before the election, Scott Blakeman, who was the resident comedian on MSNBC's live coverage of the 2016 White House Correspondents Dinner, hosts another great lineup of topical and political comedians, who will use their wit and wisdom to try to make sense of this crazy election.

SCOTT BLAKEMAN  is "The top political comedian working in New York today"(NBC). He has performed his progressive political comedy around the world, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and the Jewish Historical Museum in Scotland. Scott has performed on numerous occasions with his comedy idol Robert Klein, including recently at the Tarrytown Music Hall. Blakeman tours the country with Muslim-American comedian Dean Obeidallah in their highly acclaimed show, Standup for Peace.

JIM DAVID appeared in his own Comedy Central special, and on ABC's The View. A headliner around the world, he is a three time winner of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets Award for Outstanding New York Comedian.
